Staff Development Policy
Tom Thumb recognises that its success depends to a significant extent upon the contribution made by its employees. It acknowledges that training and development of staff assists the group achieve high standards and provide quality care and education for children who attend. It appreciates that staff that are offered training and development opporttmities are likely to express a high commitment to the group,
enjoy increased job satisfaction as well as gaining enhanced prospects for career progression.
Tom Thumb values the contribution made by staff and will, within the limits of the constraints and resources available, provide training and development opporttmities for all staff
Key Worker
Your child will be assigned a Key Worker. If your child is unable to attend Nursery/Playgroup could you please let your child’s Key worker know, as a register is maintained. Please do not bring your child to Tom Thumb if they are unwell - this is only fair, not only to your child but also to staff and other children.
